Healthy eating is something that everyone is involved in. The Government's targets are to improve the nutritional health of the nation. Chefs and other who produce food for the public must be aware of current nutritional guidelines and good practices.

By the end of this course you'll know:

  • what 'healthy eating' is and why it is important
  • which foods commonly cause problems
  • the measures which can be taken to reduce the amount of unhealthy foods in the diet and increase the amount of healthy food.
