Quality counts from the start

The saying ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating' has stood the test of time very well. Customers will vote with their feet, if the quality of the food is not good, they will not buy it.

Quality of food is important, there is no argument with that! Poor quality raw materials will lead to a poor quality product. This course tells the learner what to look far in perishable raw materials.

By the end of this course you should know:

  • what quality indicators are and why they are important
  • quality points for raw materials
  • storage and handling tips for raw materials to ensure quality is maintained
