Fire safety

This course looks at the causes of fires and how they can be prevented. It also looks at examples of fire fighting equipment, how they are used and what for.

By the end of this course you should know:

• the main causes of fire in the workplace and how they can be prevented
• how fires commonly start and what they need to burn
• fire fighting equipment and what it is used for
• a bit about the main legislation that exists for preventing fires in the workplace today.
