Setting objectives

It’s important to set specific objectives for any event you run. Make sure you know exactly what you want to achieve and be certain that it will be worth the time, money and effort required to make it happen.

Do you want to attract new learners, reward existing ones, or create more awareness of your centre in the local community? Do you want to involve or thank local businesses and training providers? Could your event help put people in touch with local employers and highlight the skills employers are looking for?

Make your objectives measurable, so that you’ll know exactly how successful you were.
