Creating The Right Environment

Creating the right learning environment will help you deliver training and learning courses within a framework, which takes into consideration the following:

  • The various learner capabilities and physical abilities
  • Staff, and the resources required to deliver courses
  • Controlling the environment through lighting, including ambient lighting conditions such as natural sunlight.
  • Being aware of the acoustic benefits to selecting softer finishes rather than harder.
  • Using colour, or their right tones to enhance the room, space or work areas you have to offer.
  • Developing specific work areas which have unique characteristics for the activity undertaken.

Remember successful learning can be influenced by an effective and conducive learning environment.
