Task Chairs

Contrary to popular belief, sitting, which most people believe is relaxing, is hard on the back. Sitting for long periods of time can cause increased pressure on the back leading to back pain. Sitting can also be hard on the feet and legs so it's important not to sit in the same position for prolonged periods without getting up and walking around.

A good quality task chair will have the following:

  • Upholstered seat pad
  • Good lumbar support for the back
  • Independent adjustable back
  • Height adjustable seat
  • Swivel seat
  • Come fitted with castors for carpet and rubber floor.
(castors are advised for vinyl or hard floor finishes).
  • Removable armrests
