Supernova gives people with a visual impairment the freedom to access Microsoft Windows in a way that suits them best – magnification, speech, Braille or all three. This application recognises the text and graphics that make up Windows, including dialogue boxes, icons, menus, buttons etc. Supernova speaks through your computers’ soundcard and talks the user through the installation.
The computer display is magnified so that small detail is clearer. Information is also presented in Braille for users of the many supported Braille devices. There is no need to buy a separate screen reader and magnifier. Supernova includes full screen reading and Braille with integrated magnification, and works on any of the supported Windows platforms. Supernova meets the needs of both blind and partially sighted computer users.
