Palpad Switches

Palpads are flat switches, yet are very rigid and durable.  They are designed to tolerate rough usage.  Only 1.2 ounces of force will activate the switch.  They can be operated with the slightest touch from either directly above or at a shallow angle.  Palpads can be plugged into communication aids, battery operated devices or computer interfaces.  They are ideal for users who are distracted by audible clicks, or those who require a very low profile switch and can exert very little pressure.
