Self Assessment Checklist
Self evaluation is the process of you reviewing, assessing and evaluating rather than someone else evaluating your organisation. It is often used in different ways now in many quality systems and is being used by learndirect scotland.
In addition to self evaluation, there will also be spot checks and other types of evaluation activities carried out by learndirect scotland.
An example of a completed self assessment is available here.

Centre Profile
Good information and guidance for potential learners about what support the branded learning centre provides, what it looks like, and types of courses that they offer are all extremely important. To assist with this centres have to complete a centre profile. This is a requirement for continutation of branded learning centre status.
To download a centre profile (CLICK HERE).
Examples of centre profiles: CEDAFINAL.doc, YipworldFINAL.doc, RewardsFINAL.doc, CumbernauldCollegeEastDunbartonshireCampusFINAL.doc.
**If you manage multiple centres or venues we would be happy to accept one self assessment if the same policies and procedures apply to all centres/venues but we still require individual centre or venue profiles.**
National Learning Opportunities Database (NLOD)
offers learners a single comprehensive database of courses. The data held on the NLOD is at the core of the information and advice given to callers to the learndirect scotland and learndirect scotland for business helplines and websites.
Register on the database today by completing the relevant forms, or calling the information services team on 0141 285 6100 or e-mail infoservices@learndirectscotland.com
